minimum cfl requirement for veging mom and clones?

Sup guys, been looking trying to find the minimum requirement for mothers to keep producing clones and the clones to veg for a few days.

I know that more light = faster growth for mothers and clones.

My reason is I'm growing my mom and clones in a small space (14D/25L/17H) and can only have about 4x23w 6500k. If only 2 bulbs are over her and 2 over the cloning area would this be effective?

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

i use a 125w cfl to keep a few mothers, and start off clones,
i have this in a small cabinet which is around 2.5 ft wide 3ft tall and 1ft deep,
i trim them back when they start touching the bulb, its good enough to get about 20-30 decent cuttings every 3-4 weeks
you could take more but under the cfl some of the shoots are a bit spindly and i do not like cuttings like that, and once you take most of the shoots from the plant it takes a bit longer
for them to grow back under cfl,

to root a small propagator of cuttings 10-15 cuttings
20 w florescent tube is good enough

peace

Oh man thats more than enough.
have done it under 7 watts cfl for one bonsai sized mom over the winter to get clones for springtime.
have a t4 setup for 3 moms running with 3x6w t4 works fine.

Same here...I use 24/0 lightcycle for my bonsai moms to make sure they are always in veg with good results. They are in 0,5-0,7liter pots and once a year I prune the roots a little bit and add some fresh soil around the pruned parts to keep them vital.
just for the record
:-)
