so i was by my pops today and saw he had some 6500's on his cactus's, had some spares so i got some free 42 watters today, 
he knew exactly what i wanted them for, lol

anyways, i also grabbed some of these mini flourescent flood style lamps, they seem to focus the light nicely and was wondering, aside from the higher price, any downsides to these? the extra layer of glass the light has to go through must degrade it some. just looks like a nice little light with a built in reflector to me, gonna throw a couple on spare clones ive been playing around with on a windowsil and see what they look like in a week. they are apparently 6500's as well , pics of the bulb, and a kittin veggin in front of some spare 6500's
