Mini Shrooms a problem?

I have a couple vegetables starting around my AK48 plant and I noticed a very small mushroom on one of the brussel spouts. I havn't seen anything around my AK48, but I'm removing all other plants from the area. The grow mix is 4:4:2 Soil:CoCo Chunks: Worm Castings and I'm going to skip the next watering to let things dry out more. Is there anything I can add the the water to combat shrooms or is it even a problem at all? Thanks.

I wouldnt worry about it mate....if you live in a cold place then mushrooms will be less frequent...if you get shit loads, maybe replace the soil,,but i reckon its fine.....If the shroom goes blue when you squeeze it,send it to me!!!;-)

My concern wouldn't be for the mushrooms specifically, but for the fact that you have conditions that allow fungus to prosper. Those mushrooms might not be bad for you, but others could turn up if your environment isnt right.

I would share the same concerns as roidrage...

To be safe, you may want to use a aerated compost tea with compost, earthworm castings, and some ancient forest, with 1tsp of molasses per 1gal of water. Mix all that up and aerate it for 12-18 hours at around 70F, then use it on your plants. This will put lots and lots of fungus and bacteria into your soil. The idea with this is that the good fungus and bacteria will out compete anything not right for your plant... Hope this helps!
