Mini-blotters of LSD? Divising doses?

Hi;

I was wondering, is the LSD distributed uniformly inside a blotter? If yes, let's say I have a 150ug blotter, and I cut it in half. Do I suddenly have two ~75ug blotters? (Probably more something like one of 85ug and another of 65ug, but that's the idea).

I ask that because I've just received my very first blotters, but I think it wouldn't be safe to take my first dose alone. I want to find a good set and settings, so I'll take it in a few weeks, with friends. But I don't want to wait until that, so I was wondering, maybe I could take some mini-doses to have mini-effects (like 50ug doses, I don't know)... Let me know what you think about that...

Yes.

The whole reason blotters are used to begin with is that they soak up the drug in solution form like a sponge. The solvent dries out, leaving the LSD suspended in the blotter.

You certainly could take half a blotter for half a dose, and 50 mikes would be a reasonable small dose.

The issue/question is, how much LSD is in the WHOLE blotter?

I don't know how you could know that for sure, so even at half a dose, you wouldn't really know how much you were getting.
 
I've looked at a lot of acid under a black light and sometimes you can see where its stronger than others. I assume that when you cant see any differences then its all fairly even. When we used to get a lot there would sometimes be spots that were way stronger! Some are dipped some are drop by dropped and some are just randomly squirted and a few hits don't even get any (never liked finding them this way).
 
About the concentration of the whole blotter, I'll simply trust the seller. I know it may not be accurate but I don't have much choice anyway. I've read some other topics concerning the great variance of dosage in blotters supposed to contain the same amount, but well, that's the game!

Since we're a talking about it, and since I'm an absolute noob, I just want to check something :

If I'm not mistaken, I count 25 blotters, is that right? Each little square is a blotter, a single dose, and can be taken alone? The blotter is not the full picture?
I don't want to make any mistake. I know there are no risks of OD, but 25 blotters in one hit, that must be a hell of a trip. :p
 
the thing is if you take lots of little hits you'll build up tolerance and when you take a full one it wont do any thing,
best off mtake a full one man,
you only have a first trip once,
if you have set and setting down then there is no problem
 
Doesn't tolerance depend on the dose? i.e., small doses, little tolerance?

And doesn't tolerance fade-out completely after a week or two?

Thats 25 hits, each one should be a good time..... All 25 could be fun too but find a sitter that loves you enough to put up with anything you may decide to pull! I mean anything!
Tolerance builds up very quickly if you use it two days in a row you will need more the second day and so on. Most of the potency can be preserved by simply waiting a day in between. I've read it takes about a month for your whole tolerance to build back up. I think its more fun if you only use it on special occasions, I found that when using it to often you lose respect of its power in then your in for it, I don't think acid likes you to disrespect it that way.

This has gotta be a standard saying that has just become embedded.

It seems a "standardised" modern (post 1980) dose really isn't enough for a decent trip, you gotta start with 2. And after that, dosage varies a bit (but not a lot) on a per person basis, at least until you start dealing with repeats and tolerance.

So for your 1st, assuming a decent set and setting, I'd eat 2. Also assuming you weigh between 150 and 180 lbs. If more, eat more accordingly.

Of course, we are talking about 1/25 of that sheet being a "dose" that you need to double. NOT THE WHOLE SHEET!
 
how do you know you havelsd before taking it? ive taken some "lsd" before and idk if it was just a weak dose or what but it wasnt as great as i thought. i think its might of been LSA since my friend that got it for us said who he gets it from makes it himself. and i herd one drop of lsd is equal to 10 drops of lsa. do any of you guys buy LSD to find out that it is LSA?
 
It turns out ducks like to trip balls. And we invented hydroponics.
When Bear was making acid he made 300ug doses. People seemed to really like his acid. I don't know why people started selling such low single doses.

I always heard bears were anywhere from 200-1000ug each. I think they got weak for a few reasons. Some people just can't handle a full blown trip, I know when I was involve I freaked out a little every time I heard someone did something stupid on something they got from me. Now a days there is only a few close friend I will share with. Not that I'm greedy I'm just to old to be wondering what is the dude gonna do on my acid. I think some people are greedy, I met some kids a while back that were selling doses that were only in the 25ug range, sure it was good LSD but that just plain mean. I think mostly the reason people like to 100ug range is because a gram makes 10000 hits and that a nice easy number to work with, every hit works but you need to eat 4-10 to get there. Which I used to complain about but now I kinda like no going all the way out there every time. I also have noticed if there is a lot of it around some people start getting more generous, probably to compete with whoever has the cheaper stuff. Sure would have loved to have met Bear, I love reading his writing on bears pages! Can't say I agree with everything he says but the dude was brilliant to say the least, a few more of him and we would live in a better world.
 
Does that comment about weak post-1980 doses applies for LSD worldwide? Or just for local, US LSD? But is there anything such local LSD, btw?

Mine comes from Holland. Does that changes anything? (Well actually I've no clue where it came from before being there, again I do with what I know.)

If I'm lucky and really have legit 150ug blotters and I take two of them, I wonder if it won't be a bit extreme for my small 140lbs frame. :)
On the other hand I always wanted to visit Mars...

It don't matter what you weigh. I think the reason everyone says eat it all is to get the full effect. 150ug is not even close to the full effect. Most experienced trippers seem to prefer somewhere in the 300-800 range. I think 150-300 would be grate for the first time. My first few doses were on the weak side and when I got a good few it took my by storm which is funny because that is what I expected the first time. I read in the Rick Strassman book DMT the spirit molecule the LSD and other tryptamines try to convert to some sort of natural amphetaimine if you don't take enough which helps explain the legends of speedy acid, they just needed to take more. Take 2-4 of those and in the morning you'll know if you like LSD or not. I you cut it in half you are sort of fooling yourself and selling yourself short of and amazing experience.
