I got about 6 ounces of one plant. I thought there would be more of a stretch but I was wrong. I thought she would fill out more.

So she didn't stretch much at all? I have 2 Mimosa x Orange Punch, one i repotted early and it's the biggest plant in the tent. The other has stayed smaller but i'm yet to repot it, waiting on pots/ewc.

Starting to get concerned she will get too big if i wait until the others catch up before i flip. It's just over 2ft/60cm and is 34 days from sprout. Do you think it will stretch too much? They are the 2 with red X's

From what I understand she tasted good. A nice sweet taste if you would. She liked a low PH though. I don't know if it's something I'm doing wrong, but anything over 1.2 and the tips started to burn.

Ahh thanks it's starting to make sense now (i think) after some reading. The Mimosa x Orange Punch is a cross of "Mimosa Evo" https://www.barneysfarm.com/mimosa-evo-510 and "Orange Punch".

The Memosa Evo strain produces big plants, and heavy yields. The Orange Punch is a much more compact plant, and more sensitive to PH, feed etc. So i think i got 2 different phenos, one leaning to each parent. One is smaller, and the leaves have always been gnarly and wrinkled like it has PH/nute problems. The other is quite a beast compared to all my other strains popped on the same day. And it's not real concerned about the PH and it loves nutes so this plant is leaning more towards the large Memosa Evo parent.

If so it's going to be interesting watching these 2 flower and see how they turn out.

I finished an orange punch x mimosa a few months ago. Fwiw what struck me on this is how much better it got after curing for a month or so. I tend to start smoking something as soon as it’s dried, and they do get better after cure, but this was different just because of how much better it got. It started out disappointing, but now it’s the best weed in the batch both taste and high. Yield is solid too. I pulled just under 6 ounces which for me with 4 weeks of veg is pretty good.

Awesome thanks for the pointers on this one. Mine are more vigorous then any other strains I'm growing so it's shaping up to be a great strain. I'll be sure to let her cure for longer.

Greetings,

I am currently running some Mimosa x Orange punch with the following:
1. 3x3 Mars Hydro tent
2. Viparspectra KS-3000
3. 4" AC Infinity
4. FoxFarm Ocean Forest soil
5. GH nutrient Micro, Grow, Bloom W/ Fox Farm Soluble trio, Dimond Nectar, Armor Si, and Cal Magic at 50%. Water, feed, water

I am currently in day 44 1/2 and wanted some opinions. The strain goes out 55-60 days but things are looking almost finished. I am thinking about flushing but I'm not 100% sure. Any tips would be great. This is my first run in 8 years.

Just look at the trichomes. That's the best way to tell when she's ready.

I harvested mine after 10 weeks of flower when I started seeing plenty of amber trichomes on sugar leaves and around buds.

It's been drying now for a week, but I decided to give it a try yesterday before drying and curing is finished. The high was very uplifting and even speedy. I felt like I had a pill of adderall followed by a cup of coffee. Haven't had anything like it for a while.

I split the nug before smoking it, and the trichomes inside (not the outside!) were milky-white which makes me think I didn't give it enough time and chopped too early :(

Now question to you fellow growers: will curing make my stuff a bit more mellow? Or did I completely mess it up by harvesting too early?

After another couple of days of drying and two weeks of curing I must say the stuff is completely different. The smell and high are both much better. Another proof of how important it is to cure your bud before smoking it.
