Welllll...generally, but not exactly. My stepdad and my best friend’s dad are both professional fine artists. I should be okay with those selections, but the rate of value appreciation seems to depend on the artist and cultural zeitgeist within a given timeframe. I think if you divide the rate of appreciation among all those who self describe as artists it is very near zero. Some artists’ works have a very fast rate of appreciation, but most are even closer to zero than the mean. Statistics are the greatest trick the supposed devil ever played.

Putting 9 plants on blumat drippers, 5 in a bastardized blend of new FFOF and used Tupur, four in rockwool.

Strains are:
  • Shoreline Genetics’ Sour Glue x5
  • GPS Orange Blossom Special x2
  • GPS Cookies n Chem
  • GPS Blizzard Bush

Going to veg for a bit still, and I bet everything goes swimmingly, even though I am doing lots of shit “wrong” - this plant grows like a weed, but faster!

I don’t love blurple, but for now...that’s what I run.

Bastards!

Looking clean in there, brother.
Thanks man! Considering all the dirt I was flinging around transplanting last night, not bad.

The drippers were hooked up and running before I crashed. I need to get some good/better LEDs very soon.

I am going to go with a gravity flow RDWC system, head and tail reservoir buckets, next run. I just need a couple more buckets, one more lid and some 3/4” tubing, everything else is on the way, or already here!

Pretty stoked to enter the world of “real” hydroponics for the first time. Based on my reasonable success wih aquaria over the last year, I think water is a good medium for me to work with.

Trellis is courtesy of Miracle-Gro, lol.

Took four of their “grow-through grid” things that were on clearance for missing parts and bound them together with zip ties and a little imagination. Hung it up, And decided I liked it.

Nice journal fam. May I ask your thoughts on the LRS testers
Thanks for the kind words, I am learning. Thanks for joining my little circus.

A buddy of mine has a bunch of LRS packs, he grew some too. These are actual purchases, not testers.

Ghost OG crosses were fire, but had hermies, packs were replaced at no charge, got to keep the ghost crosses. 4/5

Evil Monkey - one pheno was epic, but a 10 weeker, other was a weird throwback or something. 4/5

Blue’s Clues- short, fast, good yield, solid smoke, no gimmick, just good pot. 4/5

Lite Brite - Cookies flavors and decent structure from what I saw, slightly better yield than cookies, easy to train and trim. 4+/5

Fuego - so potent it makes me stupid, like dabs. Lovely taste, my girl was a strongly Fire OG type, would be hard to tell the difference. If the yield was there this would be an epic winner, but I pulled about 1 zip from a 30 inch plant, which is a no go for me. 4/5

Some serious fire, overall, but haven’t seen one that has all the traits of a keeper...except the one Evil Monkey pheno, which my buddy failed to clone. (He says they all damped off. I say he’s a newb who sux0rz at cloning. Although, I do know some accomplished growers who have had trouble with gg4 cuts.)

Worth popping a pack, is my summary.
