Micro Perpetual?

Hello guys, i've been growing for a while now and always used small tents for my ladies, in fact I have 3 tiny tents:
- 2x4
- 2x2
- 1x2 ( for clones)

My question is... Is there any way i could use this setup to create a perpetual grow? or as much as possible with the lowest possible downtime? Just FYI, i grow in coco.

Using my 2x4 tent always gave me more than enough for my needs, but now i'm in need of much more since i'm going to be extracting.

Any ideas will be appreciated!

Thanks!

Start in the 1x2,then go to the next one in size after the first 30-35 days, then the biggest one when flowering... In between veg and flower you can start again, in a constant rotation... When I do it, I sometimes drop more than I should!!!

I ran a perpetual with veg in n a 2x3 propogator tent with t-5 fluorescents and a 4x4 flowering tent with a 600w hps. I timed it so a plant would be ready every 2 weeks and a veg plant would go in to replace the harvested plant.

I still do this but with 2 converted bedrooms.

I staggered the plants to be ready for flower 1 at a time. When a flower finishes I have a veg plant ready to take its place. This maximizes space as the stretching and smaller plants don’t immediately take up a full space in the flower room (or tent).

Ed Rosenthal s Grow book has an excellent tutorial on perpetual gardens. I simply adjusted his method to fit my space.

All in a little spare bedroom with a stealth window board exhaust and using the house a/c and heat.

Produced a half pound a month with the tents. Would be closer to a pound with experience and practice.

Agreed. It is easy to end up with more or less plants then we need. Especially when growing from seed. With a known 8 week clone it would all fall into place better.

I do my best to keep it all full and moving but I like 10-12 week sativa leaning photo hybrids. So it varies for timing.

I really like this method

If i understand correctly, you're basically specializing your space, using one space to veg whatever, and another constantly running 12/12 just for flowers... And instead of putting them in all together, just wait enough so you can harvest every few weeks or so...

This is exactly what i needed! Thank you very much!

I'll be using the smallest of the tents (1x2) to keep clones before i flower them, and it should work out too

Once you start perpetual you'll never want to stop. I made myself take a break after this super hot summer we had. Just started back up with a new setup.

Clone/Seedling cab (1.5x2x3) HLG QB 100 4k
Early-Mid veg tent (2x3x3) 4x Citizen 1212 cobs 4k
Late veg/Early flower 1xphoto(2x4x6) 1xauto(2x4x6) Both tents 8x Citizen 1212 cobs 3k
Flower/Mostly photo's (8x8x8 only use 6x6) 9x Cxb3590 cobs 3k

All this crammed in a 12x16 portable building that I insulated, wired and drywalled. Still working on the loft but getting close to finishing. The way I do my perpetual is by height. My tents go from 3-6-8ft. My lights are all fixed at the very top of tents and I adjust my plants height vs lights. Once she starts growing to close to the lights she goes to the next tent. Auto's for quick bud and photo's for weight. Strictly coco and Megacrop from here on out.

Sounds great. I keep my lights fixed at the top of each space too. And use various stuff as stands to keep an even canopy or to keep younger plants farther away as needed.

Also I have worked every day for over 4 years with a different varied strain/cross for variety harvested every week or two.

Then as it builds up we make coconut oil out of all the mixed trim and small and loose buds so we have at least 4 different plants cannabanoids in each batch for full medical effect. And of course to trip out and have fun.

You got it all set it up yet???
Almost all done. Cab,2x3 and 8x8 are up and dialed in. Need to order the rest of the cobs to finish building my lights for the 2x4's and i'm done. Have 2 Mephisto-24 Carat and 8 GPS-Dreamcatcher going in the cab now. Veg-500 ppfd, Flip 750-1000 ppfd, Full Flower 1200 ppfd. Every canopy is even with as little drop off on edges as possible.

That's at max plant height. co2 bags is all I have. Always been to much of a pussy to try burners or tanks. Plus i'm not fully sealed. It's semi sealed with a mini split. Tried my hardest when finishing out the place but it's an aluminum portable building so it's really hard. I used so many cans of spray foam in every crack before I went in and insulated with traditional fiberglass. I might be in full swing again by spring. Just getting some babies in to strart rolling as I have no moms at the moment.

what about the 6 feet tent? do you have many plants getting close to the lights on that one? my biggest tent is actually 6 feet tall and i'm worried about height... so i've been planing on some hardcore bending

Depends. I've had 6-7 foot auto's with no training. I top most of my plants, photos and now autos. I like to keep most under 5 foot and use whatever i can to raise them up to where i want them in the canopy. Note to self: Don't jump the gun and use random garden soil left over from the summer... To hot for the 2 24 Carat I started. I pulled 1 and the second burns every time I water with straight RO, so if it's to stunted I'll yank it to. Just popped a Walter White and a Forgotten Cookies from Mephisto tonight so hope they both germ to replace the others. Just got 2 11lb coco bricks and a 4cbft bag of perlite so i'm ready to start rolling. Want to try mainlining an auto.
