So I have a question.
I live right on the border and I've had offers to grow there in mi. However my plants are very big. What if a cop came around during harvest. ..would I get in trouble for having so much weed?

If you are a medical caregiver with the full 5 allowable patients including yourself you can have 72 plants and posess 2.5 oz per patient or 15 oz. a Michigan pound we call it.

Concentrates are allowed but they replace some of the patients allowance. Like edibles have a comparison weight and it comes off our total amount. So you can have a tray of edibles but now only 1.5 oz flower for example.

Yes we all know this is rediculous. But it is the written law.

Commercial med licenses are also available. I don’t know all the info on them. They started this year.

See and that is what scares me and why I have not done it yet.
So if I have 12 plants that produce 4 lbs each and a Sheriff comes around when everything is down and cured ...
That is 48 lbs for 12 plants. :(
I want to grow legally but not with those laws in place.

I forgot to say the law is for “usable” meds.

I have been planting 1 or 2 plants at a time corn a few years. I harvest a plant or 2 every 10 days or so. It is a pain in the ass with every plant in different stages.

I grow indoor so I don’t have the weight you would to deal with. But obviously I am still always overweight at harvest.

I label the drying closet and jars with 3 month out dates so they are not usable. I also keep close trim for edibles and label and cure in jars as well.

The ready weed doesn’t last long and I just repeat the perpetual cycle.

So I label the drying closet

I have hasn’t police at my door knowing about my medical Grow and not even bother coming in.

But I would be very paranoid with the weight you are dealing with here.

Of course I had plenty and never worried so much about it when it was illegal. But now arrests are actually way up for weed here.

And in other legal states.

Legal weed is a lie!

Yes that is exactly right.
I feel safer in a way growing illegally then putting my name and address in the system and telling the man to 2018-07-13 22.17.05.jpg please come look at my grow lol.

Lol. 2 of your plants would fill my whole converted spare bedroom flower room.

But I would find a place to store the excess. Just like the old days.

And to think I had 12 of them in a 4x4 tent lol now each is in a 5x5 box ;)
Yeah it's never a bad thing to have to find room for all the excess :leaf::hump:

I’m going to build a Greenhouse I feel I ever get to clearing the overgrown part of my property.

My main yard isn’t on the corner of the entrance to our little lake subdivision but I have an 1/8 acre hidden in the trees next to my lawn edge. There is a stream (actually the beginning of a river) from the lake going right by and the dirt is almost pure black.

The neighbors said the previous owner had a fantastic garden growing down there.

I could even run electric for fans.

I have been running inside every day for 4 years now. A nice crop like yours could give me a break.

Well there is yield and then there is consistent quality. I grow every plant with individual attention all the way through. I have (with a ton of trial and many errors;-) finally grown consistently better flowers than I imagined I could.

Indoor is expensive no doubt. I share my heating and a/c and humidifiers/dehumidifiers with the grow and whole house. We all live at about 67- 70 degrees ambient and 45-60 % humidity. It radically lowers my costs but of course watts still add up. And it won’t work anymore if I add lights.

So I’m going to build an insulated room in my unfinished open Michigan basement or go outside.

But I will surely want light dep and then a/c and then...........
