How are they a for sure thing and is some entity coming in to grow on a large scale? Is this coming from the bills that were passed by the senate recently?

I was mistaken it still has to go back to tyne house
It might not to be too far off though. They have been pushing bills around the adjust the mmma since it's inception. I hope the house doesn't pass it or if it does hopefully the governor vetoes it.

Just depends on what bill and how it's written in my opinion. Two of three are real bad. Big business taking out the little guy. Sad really

Yeah I know it sucks, I entertained the idea of going to try and maybe attempt to get one these licenses to grow. I then thought what if I leased a building and did all this stuff that is required to then be rejected by the state. I feel like there will be some nepotism involved while giving any license in any tier. Plus you have get allowed in your city too before you even apply. Oh don't forget it's non refundable application fee of $5,000- $10,000.

Seriously though, caregivers in the MMMP can no longer sell to provisioning centers either... so you HAVE to have a facility for 500 plants minimum?! @Michiganjesse You make a good point about the business size restriction as well. You would need an actual warehouse sized building and the lighting, HVAC, ect for that size area must cost.... well I can't even imagine. Basically, it seems you better be willing to dump $250K into it at least to start... probably more.

You could do it cheaper than that. You figure 1-1000 watt light per 4 plants so that's approximately lets say $5,000 to $10,000. Commercial ac/heat add another $20,000. Update electrical for a load that size $20,000. Lease a building maybe say $25,000 a year. Permit fees ect... another $20,00. Another $20,000 for system hydro soil nutes. So about $100,000 to set up. These numbers are what you can expect to pay. I own a construction company so my numbers are close guess. I have built a few grows and 2 dispensaries. I actually am thinking of marketing to growers. Do you think there is a market?

There would be a huge market to commercial growers. I'm going to attempt to raise funds to switch to commercial and having a turn key place would be great. We will now have to see what regulations the local municipalities enforce.

Also, the 3 classes is the maximum not minimum. I just reread it. So class a is a maximum of 500 plants.

Yes that's going to take time to see all the regulations to come
