I must admit most of my experience with high wattage hids is old magnetic ballasts you could hear a mile away and any power fluctuations cost you a bulb.. But I do have a couple 400 watt digitals I ran for a couple years.. thought sure I had to raise the lights after going hps... Now I'm not so sure... Must be a glitch in the old memory banks.. sucks gettin old!
