MH+HPS or T5+HPS

What will get me the fattest buds?

I have three lights a Sunleaves Pioneer VI with six 4' t5's, A 400 watt MH and a 400 watt HPS. In my veg room I can use either the T5 or the MH and get similar results. So the question is which would help my grow room the most? The t5 vertical along the wall of the room or the MH hung along side the HPS?
 
I would say probably the HID with the proper bulb would put out the best lumens for flowering. T5's work pretty good. I just swapped out my 16 bulb T5's for 1000w hps system. And the hps definitely gets through the canopy better than the T5's.
 
I got the hps with the proper bulb I'm just wondering which of the others would best supplement that bulb. The T5 vertical to help the lower plant or the mh to help the overall light spectrum in the room
 
MH. i just prefer HID and you will get more lumens which is always good. what method are you using? scrog sog? why vertical?

Doesn't necessarilly have to be vertical I just figured that would help penetrate the lower buds the HPS isn't hitting hard enough. It gets hot with the MH light but I'm sure I can figure that out.

well if your not doing a sog or scrog i would use the T5's because your lower buds will need more light because your not getting enough penetration with the hps. but if the light penetration isnt an issue like with a SOG then use the MH
 
personally i love my t5's heat is never an issue....if heat isn't an issue use the MH and hps. But if you heat is an issue....t5's are pretty bad ass
 
u could just use HPS and line the room with mylar or something for the lower parts of the plant...
