3,4-methylenedioxy-N-methylcathinone (according to wiki).
MDMA is quite similar except the active stimulint is different (although very similar to amphetimine).
MDMA is 3,4-methylendioxymethamphetamine, and MDA is 3,4 methylenedioxyamphetamine, so the chemical constituents of the three are very similar. The molecular structure of cathinone (the active stimulant) is derived from quat, and is a mild stimulant that is nearly identical to the chemical structure of amphetamine. Both are very close in molecular structure to the neurotransmitter dopamine. My guess is that it will produce similar effects to E, except they will likely be more mild.
Just be sure to keep in mind that stimulants such as this are always neurotoxic, particularly because of the methylenedioxy, but also because of the stimulant itself. Drugs such as this cause damage to both the dopamine and serotonin distribution systems in the brain. I'm guessing you kind of already knew that E wasn't good for you, so I'm sure you're assuming that risk. However just to be clear, there is no such thing as "herbal E," that avoids the risks of the high associated with the drug.
That being said, if you're willing to assume the risks, MDMA and 3,4-methylenedioxy-N-methylcathinone appear to be very similar and thus should produce somewhat similar effects.
Happy tripping and stay safe.
