Metal Halide All The Way ?

Hey guys,

I dont really wanna go out and buy a new high pressure sodium light, So I think im gunna just let the metal halide ride out to the end.

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THE DIFFERENCE WILL BE LIKE THE AMOUNT ILL GET OR POTENCY,

PRETTY MUCH, DOES THE HIGH PRESSURE SODIUM REALLY MAKE THAT MUCH OF A DIFFERENCE FOR FLOWERING A SMALL CROP?

Thanks man preciate it, yea i was gonna get a 400w hps from htgsupply.com, its only like 120bux but i figured id just save the money and use the mh, preciate the advice.

In my experience, yes, using an HPS has improved my results considerably. My first grow I just used a 400W MH all the way through. (i know, a huge waste of lumens 4 one plant!) Although I harvested 42 grams off of my one plant, which ain't bad, they were very fluffy and airy, leaving much to be desired. I am now flowering with a 400W HPS conversion lamp and the difference is incredible. TIGHT buds now and expecting a much larger yield off of my 4 Ice! I've heard that combining HPS and MH will improve results even further, giving the flowers more of the blue along with the red spectrum.

Oh yeah, I hear ya. It's a shame how our wallets determine our grows. The 400W, actually i think it's a 360W HPS conversion lamp was over $100. But it was worth it
