Mercury-Vapor

I have been trying lately to get some decent lighting but it's hard in my area. (I'm from iceland) The closest thing I can get to HID or MH are mercury-vapor bulbs....Has anyone ever grown with that kind of lighting and if so are they good?

before I got a conversion bulb for my mercury vapor ballast I grew two crops and it worked good but the yeid was smaller than when I started using a conversion bulb for my ballast. I purchased the conversion bulb off of the internet but they are hella expensive like $80.00 for a 220 watter so I would highly recomend getting a hps or mh at all costs because of the cost of the conversion bulbs and yeild. I could have gotten for a hell of alot better hps sytem for what I have put into my mv system. Just order one from the net like from Grow Lights Hydroponics Garden Supplies - InsideSun they have hps's for like 125.00 a 4oo watt system complete (their cheap ones)
