hey does anybody know if a 175 watt mercury vapor lamp will do the trick for flowering

It will if you want some b/s,but I've never heard of good results from that type of lamp,wrong spectrum for flowers

Get a 175 watt metal halide bulb and it should work fine in there

besides that,the MH light took over for it mainstream production wise in '08,as it was banned for use by the EPA

cool, is there any good light cycles that u would recommend for a sprout about 3 inches tall??
