Meijers No Longer carries 99% ISO

Anybody know where to get 99% ISO (rubbing alcohol) in Michigan. Used to get it at Meijer but they apparently no longer carry the 99%, only can get 91% now...

Need to make some RSO very soon....
 
Weakness. Guess as soon as I'm home it's time to buy out all of my meijers near me. Thanks for the heads up tri.
 
I was waiting to hear word of this from my friends downstate .. They have not had it stocked here for a month or so .. Really pisses me off but I believe they ( Opposition ) caught on and Meijers joined in hands by pulling it from the shelf ..

Some Hydro shops are stocking it by the gallon , it may cost more in the end by a few dollars but at least its in a damn gallon jug verses Meijers little 16 oz bottles .. Shipping costs add up when ISO is sent by UPSdelivery ..
 
ive went to nearly every meijer, kroger, walmart, kmart, rite aid, cvs, sally beauty supply, and NO one carries 99% iso. i spent an entire day driving around looking for this. the ONLY place i found it is at a nail supply store by 12 mile and dequindre (in the strip mall with O'rilies(sp) auto parts store). 25.00 a gallon. so im betting any nail supply store will have the 99% iso we need.
 
Some cleaning supply companies may offer ISO in 5 gallon buckets , I am looking to buy another one or ten myself . It would be nice to have a 50 gallon drum chilling in my shed verses the 4 gallons that i have right now..

As well some computer and electronic stores will have small amounts stocked .. Best of luck with the search .. FUCK FRED MEIJERS
 
I buy 5 gallon of 99% iso for $90 at Alpena supply, in Alpena MI. It is a cleaning supply company. They ussually have one or two 5 gallon plastic jugs around. There must be other supply companies that carry it too.....shredder

I know its not iso but a store that's local to me in the downriver area has cases of 7x butane for $42. Nice to know since iso is getting harder to find.

Same thing happened with sweet breath bottles in a different area of um, commerce so to speak...
 
hey guys come to think about it, when i was working for XXX and doing GM's show cars/concepts/ect we use 99% rubbing alcohol for certain cleaning procedures. we got out 99% iso from a local bodyshop supply company. theres a place on m59 (hall rd/20 mile) and Van Dyke, behind the BP gas station, iirc the name is Kings auto. they should have it, as they sell autobody supplies. ill try and stop in this week and see if they have any.
 
Sorry if I'm no help at all but if you have randalls the generic randalls brand is 99 and thhey all have it.. But I don't know if yall have randalls

Ha Randalls. Haven't heard that name since i lived in Houston 25 yrs ago...... Nope no Randalls here
