MegaCrop and PK booster Bud Explosion?

Anyond on this forum using MegaCrop by GreenLeaf Nutrients while also using their PK booster Bud Explosion? Curious to see how much MC y’all are using in veg and in flower. As well as how much BE y’all are using in flower.

I’m currently a couple weeks from harvest and tapering down on nutrients, but I was using 5-6 grams of MC + 5-6 grams of BE per gallon of water. pH at 6.4-6.5 and around 1200 ppm.

I feel like I’m using more BE than I should be needing but my plants still show P and K deficiencies.

Never used anything other than just megacrop and either worm tea or great white/recharge. I use megacrop at a max of 900ppm and taper down close to the end.

Was looking at great white myself, I just ordered ecomyc. It’s a newer brand I believe directed towards growing cannabis so I guess I’ll see when that gets in the mail if it makes a difference. I’ve been growing in Happy Frog soil and I noticed the one and only coco plant I grew my last harvest the roots looked so much better than the roots in soil. So I’m switching to coco this grow, also using something to help with roots, I’ll probably try greatqgite next after I use up this ecomyc

The only issue I see with that ecomyc is it doesn’t give you any information on the types of mycorrhiza they use or really anything about it. Makes me wonder about that kind of stuff. This is what I like to see on anything I water or use on my plants or hell the food I eat clear cut on what’s in there.778DF111-6547-495E-821A-24F8D3A9DD61.jpeg80CD922C-E63D-4C27-82B0-825FA98281F2.jpeg

Honestly I don’t know much about what goes into products as is sadly since I’m fairly new to growing myself. I heard good things about it, also heard great white is awesome stuff, just a little on the spendy side.

I switched to that yellow bag there which is recharge. My buddy who owns a shop gave me that bag and it’s pretty good. But I mainly use it to throw in when I make worm casting tea. Worm casting tea is super cheap and easy to make and adding recharge or similar product in with it only makes it better.

I’m going to look more into organic stuff and worm casting teas, now that I got most of the basics down needed when it comes to growing the plant from seed to harvest.

Yah the tea is liquid form of any of this stuff honestly. A big bag of worm casting may 10 bucks a fine mesh bag you can reuse like 5 to 10 bucks an air pump and a bucket is all you need.

yeah, id like to know myself. I use Megacrop and got the Booster and the cal-mag, but can find how much to use of either. I also use recharge everyday, because its freakin awesome and doesnt hurt to use it as much as u like. I see the cla-mag is 2-0-0, which is the same as my regular cal-mag, but i think that was giving me signs of to much N during flower phase, so i wanted to try the cal-mag from greenleaf.

There is a feeding calc on there website, plus a PDF on each product page with a recommended dose.

I have not used the Calmag, but I am using the megacrop at 4-5 Grams per gallon, with 1 gram per gallon of the pk boost, and about 1-1.5 grams per gallon of Epsom salt (I'm under led, so I need the mag). Works great. This is the first time I've flowered with it, and I haven't run into any issues with that ratio.

Cocoloco, (coco x peat x perlite )
I'm using MC in Cyco's coco bits. It is 100% coco fiber and small chunks of coco. The only time I used a cal mag supplement was when I transplanted to a bigger pot. I used the cal/mag for one feeding only (to charge the media). Nutrient is Ph'd to 6.3. Currently 1st week of 12/12 so I mixed 500 ppm's mega crop and added enough MOAB to bring ppm up to 600 which was 3/4 of teaspoon. After 1st week is over I'll stop the moab and then use 600 - 650 ppms of mega crop only until 5th or 6th week then I'll start adding moab again.

wow, didnt even see it on the nute page, i do now tho, lol.. ok, so im at 22 days flower, and i water everyday, on lights on, then just recharge and water 2 hours before lights out. Ive already started at 3g per 1/2 gallon of megacrop, ( weeks now ) and it calls for 1g of PK per gallon, so i will give it 1/2 gram, because i mix in 1/2 gll increments. SInce i water daily, I can still give them the PK booster every AM feed till harvest? Or just for the couple weeks like usually PK booster.?

Thanks fellas,

says 1g per gallon of the BE bro, being low i presume is because you use it thru-ought the flower cycle. 5-6g per gallon seems very high, so id be careful personally. this is the first time ive messed with any PK boost, but my research has seen PK boost in weeks 3-5 only with other brands. Gave first dose today and my strain gets big buds before the PK boost, so Im expecting even bigger buds, woot,lol..

Yeah I seen the recommended dose of 1g per gallon but it also says increase if needed. Which I’ve been steadily at 5-6g Mc and be for my plants the past month. And they still showed signs of phosphorus deficiencies throughout the grow. Now I’m tapering down on the nutes using only P and K with light nutrient feedings. They’re about 10-14 days from chop at max.

What I’m doing lol. I just started few days ago. I’m growing in soil with these few plants. My gelato and devil cream Auto I just planted are in coco. Definitely switching to coco had such good results on my first coco grow last harvest.
