a gallon is less than 4 liters, but you can swith the measurement to gallons in step#2 and use it to get the amount needed to make your solution
iirc, it's something along the lines of 1 gram in 1 gallon is right around 100 ppm, maybe a little less (90 ish if i remember right). but it's ballpark nonetheless. i don't even use a ppm meter anymore. weigh it, add to my jug and shake. if i'm using a gallon jug, 4 grams is right around what i'm using for healthy bushes. maybe a little more, maybe less, depends on how you read your plants. you cann add some epsom salts to your water first, maybe a gram for that gallon jug, which will give you some magnesium and sulfur. it will also kinda act like a ph buffer, at least my nute ph is more stable with my water this way. and when you add your 4 grams (if you were to follow this info), the ph comes out just right for me. i use drops because it works and i'm cheap. pee yellow (6.0) works great for me. any lower and the girls start ragging and complaining, so i give em what they ask for, like any good man would. keep em happy, pay attention, keep accurate notes. keep a clean garden. don't over water. simple things can make a world of difference. and as always, NEVER blindly follow someone's advice. take it in, listen, but use your brain. what works for me, might not work for you. and vice versa. the more you listen though, the more you'll be able to spot good info. but, again, just pay attention to your plants, when you learn their language, it gets easier to understand what they need. bottom line, they desire consistency, so try not to make drastic adjustments to your room. that goes for nutrient strength too. don't make drastic changes to nute strength, inch it up so you don't burn them. i wish you luck. ask any questions you feel, if i can't answer, i will try to point you in the right direction.
If you got the 230g sample (more like 250-260 irl), weigh the bag, dump it in to a gallon jug, reweigh empty bag, subtract to get net weight, multiply that number (weight in grams) x10, add that much water in ml to jug. This gives you a solution that is 0.1 g/ml use this to make up small batches.
