Looked all around ask peps question never got much help on this topic. Recently changed over to try mega crop in cococoir/perlite 70/30. Plants looking pretty good. I’m looking for others using mega crop in coco/perlite mix. Not asking about other products etc. what’s your ppm/ecc you mix per gal. Not interested in grams weight. I feed around 800-1200 ppm per gal. Until nice runoff. Once/twice a day. I ve notice my runoff is reading 2500-3500 per multiple plants. Kinda concerns me. Plants range from 1 week flower to 5 weeks.

I grow all plants in 1 gal pots. Averaged 2.5 4 zips per plant depending on strain. This being with another costly product, I will not mention. I want this thread to stay on mega crop/coco grows only.

Please share your feeding rates/ schedule and pics. Just poor guy using cheap nutrients

Hey @Pigbuzz, I grow in coco too, but with GH nutes. Obviously your runoff number is off the charts high. I would use it as an excuse to up your watering frequency and see if you can get that runoff number down until it is much closer, say within a few hundred of your input, and then maybe back down on the frequency again. One gallon pots though are rather small and I'd say that is another excuse to up your watering frequency.

I'd consider watering five times a day with runoff.

Well never had this issue with canna a b in the one gal. I do think there was major salt buildup. I ve got it down now to within 200-300 Ppms. I water by hand. five times a day is out of the question. Just trying the mega crop, may not work out with coco. Think I’ll have to adjust amounts if I continue to use.

So i use MC in coco and I use a lot of it. I used to check runoff and after trial and error I stopped checking it and just read my plants. I used to freak and flush plants down closer to in going water but plants would start yellowing and deficiencies would appear. I just start at 2g a gal when small and move to 4g a gal as soon as my first leaves starts to fade.

Think just over feed more than anything, first run with the MC. I’ll be cutting back on next runs. Plants are very healthy little to green lol!

Yes, If it is your first go with MC,start on the low end, read your plants and adjust. You can always up the ppm/ec if they are hungrier.
This is just ME, the majority of my plants are green til chop. Health til Death is how I rock. Never overfed,no need to "flush" or leach my media/medium.
