Meet Betty and Shirley

Im going to try to upload my pics so you can see whats going on. Betty and Shirley are approx. 6 weeks old(total guess but close I think). Two totally different strains, bagseed (if we saved it it had to be good lol). We started 12/12 last week and lo and behold we have girls! Soil grow. Lighting has been a 400MH switching to a HPS (Im guessing same wattage, bulb is for this ballast) this weekend. Shirley looks like shes stretching but she always has been leggy, Betty is stout, bushy and lush. Betty is having a little problem tho with discoloration at some of her leaf tips and curling. Also shes got a few leafs with some spots on 'em. Shirley is also curling a bit at the leaf tip tho with no discoloration. Our water ph is about 6-6.5 thats if I can believe this funky ph tester I got at the store. It's supposed to measure light, ph and moisture. I think I need to test it more...anyways.....Betty's soil tested above 7 ph today. We have Shirley and Betty both in 5 gallon buckets in another 5 gallon bucket each as a resevoir with a wick into water and Tiger Bloom nutes. I dumped Betty's nute solution today and gave her fresh water only until we figure out whats going on. Any ideas?

im no expert but the spots on the leves look like they are from when you water then put right back in the lights, and the drooping of the leaves looks like heat stress to me.

Yeah I think a couple of times my grow partner might have done that and isn't anymore. I guess since a bunch of folks have looked at this and no one has said anything we're ok then. Thanks for responding! Peace.
