Seriously let the South secede. Their Senators constantly vote against welfare while they suck the most welfare per capita. All the red states receive the most Federal welfare. They could even call it Dumbfuckistan.

My problem with NASCAR is that they screwed themselves in the sixties; they stopped being about making better cars and started being about making a better spectacle for the fans... and that was a huge mistake.

I really don't give a shit who drives what. They're tube frames with a shell of modern bodywork, a complete facade that has nothing to do with the real car on the street. Why are they still carbureted anachronisms? Where's the new engineering so prevalent in other forms of racing?

I'd be much more interested in watching a Tesla Model S race in German Touring Car. Those are almost showroom stock, race prepared cars, with stock bodies and engines.
