Medium Question

Alright, so is coco mulch decent to mix with regular or organic soil as a medium? Or would it mess up the grow? I know coco mulch is usually used for hydroponic and aeroponic setups but would this be efficient for an indoor grow medium?

well, i mix coco coir from expandable bricks in my soil mix. it adds air retention and volume
