Medical Strain Selection

I am considering a new strain to do a medical grow. We are limited on count, so we grow so called trees. I’m looking for the best grade A smoke that will yield. Some may say high end commercial strain. Here is the list I came up with.

OG Raskal – White Bubba – I can get a clone of this, so it would be the least expensive and easiest to get. Of course I will never know for positive it is the real deal. I was told white bubba is fire and yields.

Mr Nice Medicine Man – Shanti seems to be a legend. I can get seeds easy.

Top Dawg – Stardawg – Seeds seem impossible to get, but the reviews sound fantastic.

Gage Green – Grape Stomper – High THC % and yield according to reports. Seeds are out of stock, but seem to be available.

Sannie Seeds – Killing fields or Selene – It seems everyone talks positive about Sannie. All his stuff seems good from reviews. He doesn’t seem to get the A+ reviews for some reason. We are starting out his extrema and it looks good so far.

Well, it might help to define what you mean as medical...pain relief, anti-depressant, nausea relief, etc., different strains have different effects. For example, Killing Fields is a lovely strain, big yielder, especially in scrog, great for treating depression...not so great for pain relief or insomnia.

And yes, Herijuana is the real deal when it comes to potency, but I don't think anyone would call her a big yielder without an extended veg period.

What effect are you looking for?

Most of the patients have physical pain. Most of the patients prefer a mixture of pain relief and mental relief. Most do not want just the complete couch lock nor the racy high were your heart rate goes through the relief. They prefer uplifting high that also reduces the pain. I hope this helps.

i voted for the medicine man. but mandala point of no return also works really well for relief. and blueberry strains (love dj short on this) is great for anxiety, pain relief. great for girl cramps. umm also OG has been known to show some medical properties.

I know alot of patients like Blue Dream. Great for what your looking for and huge yields outdoor. I'm growing a few Of Barney's LSD which have some good pain killing properties and a decent yielder. Good luck, jethead

you should have a look at Romulan....its a great pain relief and the stone is outa this world

I would rule out Medicine Man or any heavy indicas. If they aren't looking for couchlock that would be a nix. Great strain though... and works well for pain.
on the subject of medicating... I find indicas give me more of a heart pounding sensation. Not so much fast. But POUND.
