I hear that Michigan allows for folks with card from other states to legally posess and use marijuan in Michigan. Does my Oregon card also allow me to grow in Michigan???

PS. In oregon, once you get the docs recommendation and take it to the state department to get your state card. The department stamps your paperwork making you a valid patient until your actual card arrives. I see ppl saying michigan takes 4-5 months to issue cards, am I valid from the time I get the docs recommendation, or do I need to wait the 4-5 months until I get my card in the mail before Im a valid patient?

in Mi, you can use (according to our law) your out of state VALID MMJ card to hold up to 2.5 oz, and medicate IN COMPLIANCE with our law, ie no public use, not with in 500 ft of schools, churdhes, daycares, ect.....

but you can not possess growing plants, or grow at all. only way to do that is to be a Mi resident and have a Mi MMJ card.

Oregon rules are different than ours, we are legal from 20 days after the money is into the state.

So once the money is into the state I have to wait 20 days? then Im automatically legal? what if the police come to my house 22 days after I get the note from usps that the state received my info? Do I just show them the receipt showing they received my paperwork? In oregon I can go to the office in person and they stamp the paperwork.

then go to Oregon.

If you are small time with no criminal history and dont go around with your pants hanging off your ass you have no worries. Do not give the police reason to ask questions.
Have all your paperwork and a receipt of the certified money order and whatever you have in a envelope ready to be show AT THE DOOR if need be.
and dont tell anyone you are growing, loose lips sink ships.

You need to run copies of all the paperwork before you send it to the State of Michigan. Once you have your copies, send in the originals with your check and mail it via certified mail so that you can limit who the mail is actually delivered to, and it can be tracked online as well. Some people will disagree on when to start counting down your 20 days. I waited until the State cashed my check, and then printed an electronic copy of the cashed check from my bank's website, and started counting down from the day that the actual check was cashed. Your paperwork from the Dr. and the proof that the State cashed your check becomes your card until it actually arrives 4-5 months later, as long as you have not received 'declined' letter during your 20 day waiting period.

then go to Oregon? Sounds like someone has a few female tendencies. Get ya panties out ya ass.
I was comparing and contrast to know the differences in how things work. Not to say oregon or michigan is better. just a how to here and know what the differences there would be.

thanks for the more in depth description. I've seen some pretty cheap rentals out in Michigan close to Illinois

If you are from Oregon then why does your Location say California prop 215 patient? Not trying to be rude just wondering.
