Has anyone ever seen anybody grow with these before? Just stumbled upon them.

they have like 8 different spectrums and you can choose 4 for your 600w light
i think the one i linked is 2 of their "full spectrum" and 2 of their "far red"

they say 2.5-2.7 umol/j

im skeptical but curious. couldn't find anything on here or on youtube. waiting on a quote from them just to see what they cost.

lots of blue/red, so could be possible

but the spectrums look more like supplemental lights for greenhouses. those heatpipes could be a nice replacement for high bay warehouses with some citizen/lumiled cobs though

interesting. i think you're right about what they are designed for.

just surprising to stumble upon a "horticulture LED" claiming 2.7 umols/j that i've never heard of or read anything about.

reading their catalog it kinda seems like there might be some marketing hype too. but id be interested to see if someone uses these for any sort of grow room/greenhous

7-60° lenses means they bridge a longer distance and I would also say, they are made for supplemental greenhouse lighting.
But if you remove the lenses or when one can get them with 120° lenses it should work like any other COB based light.
But even with no lenses I would not recommend to use them. The arrays are mounted on such a small area which creates a hotspot when used at 16-18". Only if you have a high ceiling and can hang them high enough(40" or so) they are siutable for indoor growing.

anyone know why mechatronix doesn't have an online shop anymore? they used to sell their stuff directly
