Measuring your plant

So I was just wondering when you guys measure your babies do you do it from dirt to top of plant, or floor to top? or maybe even lip of the pot to top of the plant?

I am curious to know what methods everyone uses, I am trying to make a plan on how tall im going to grow my plants. I know that during flowering they can double or even triple the height they entered in. But is that pot included, or just plant material.

i measure from the dirt up.

Most people measure from dirt to top of plant. Other people lie about the size of their dick and include the pot in their measurement.
