measuring a bong bowl

hey guys

i just got a new bong and i love it but im not to happy with the key,I want to buy a new one online but i have no clue how to figure out what size the inlet is. Its glass on glass. Is there a way to measure these?

i think the the two general sizes are 12mm or 9mm...i think....not totally sure though
