Mazatepec Mushies

hey fellas. i started growing a new strain last night thought id share this with you guys. im growing Mazatepec mexican mushroom strain. using the pf tek. vermiculite and brown rice flour.

check list
1. mushroom spores
2. brown rice
3. jars or cups
4. vermiculite
5. pressure cooker or steamer



so i started off with regular brown rice that i got from some old corner store. i threw the shit into the blender and made it into flour.




then i got the vermiculite and watered it till it was all wet.



and then i strained the water, with a strainer.



and after the verm was strained but still nice and wet, i added the brown rice flour. and mixed the shit up



and then put the shit into jars and cups. but not all the way to the top



and finished it off by putting dry verm at the top



then i added two layers of aluminum foil.



and threw the jars into a steamer and steamed the jars for 50 minutes. waited till the next morning to let them dry off.



and the next morning got my operating tools together and inoculated my jars in a bathroom with no air flow and sprayed with lysol disinfectant. i didnt take any pics of the inoculation because it was too fuckin hot.



and these are the kids incubating. they should start to show signs of life after 3 or 4 days. lil white specks. i have 9 pink buffalos that have about a week left of incubating.



the jar on the left is the Mazatepec that i inocutaled last night. the one on the right is a fully colonized pink buffalo. in about a week or so im gonna start fruiting the pink buffalos. ill be sure to update

is there an easier way to grow them??

LOL umm this is about as easy as it gets. growing shrooms is easier than growing pot. pot takes up more space and time and attention and money

word up and shoomin seems alot more fun

after about a week they have started to show signs of life. 9 out of 11 jars are alive.

and my pink buffalos that are fully colonized im gonna get ready to put into the fruiting chamber, in a day or two

1st day fruiting

okay last night i dunked 2 pf cakes and this mornin i rolled em in verm and put them in my fruiting chamber. which is made up of a $3.99 plastic box i got at wal mart and a half inch of wet verm, and my hygrometer/temp.

RH = 98
Temp = 79

quick update. still gettin shrooms off these puppies. been shroomin for a while now
