Maximum Yield: What to expect from a dialed in system?

I've heard different things from different people about this, and I'd like to see if there's agreement on what kind of yield you should expect when your system is totally dialed in.

I've heard that the benchmark is two pounds per 1000w light.
I've also heard it's a 1/2 gram per watt per 30 days of flowering.

Assuming you make all the right choices with nutes, veg time, etc what's the best you can expect?

It would be good to hear benchmarks for systems with and without CO2.

What's your 2 cents?

Too many variables but once your dialed in on environment, nutrients, and lighting. I think it comes down to how long you choose to veg before you flower and how you top/fim or even SoG your plants that really maximizes yield. Genetics also play a big factor. A good examples is my g-13haze does not produce as much and the ss99 but that because Haze is not a big producer and Super Skunk #1 and Cinderella 99 are both heavier producers. Thank god my G-13 is crossed w/ Hawaiian Haze or it would grow way to tall and not bushy at all lol.

Anyway thats my 2 cents :D
