Maximum heat?

what up, most people say 75 to 80 during the day and 65 at night are optimal. My first grow I rushed the build and had daytime temps of 95 to 100. Everyone said I was gonna end up with crap but it turned out great. had huge buds and was some of the best weed ive grown. Think about other parts of the world like Thailand where it 100 all day every day. What does cannabis not exist there? anywhere as hot as your hottest summer days are fine in my opinion. Too hot and the plant will curl it leaves, if its not curling its not too hot. Shamus

agree while over 90 isnt great it can with stand it.I had temps as high as 98 last summer yield was normal, buds super dank!!

but what about seedlings? do they need colder temps or can they survive under full blast 85 temps?

i also heard that plants build more THC in hotter climates because of sun protection or sumthing..is that true?

I haven't heard that, usually up to the strain an its phenos.a dark period b4 harvest helps produce more tho.

yes and no, its not the heat which increases thc but the lack of water. the crystals you see on a plant( which contain 90% of the THC content of the plant) are a plants self defense mechanism for dealing with scorching sun. I keep my plants in the same heat range from seed to bud by the way. dont starve the plant for water but it you water it less than more you will have much more crystals meaning more potent cannabis. the actual crystals are not more potent just more of them. p.s. this is my first grow in extreme heat, not proper ventilation, and no PH meter. just FF soil and some love, lol
