Max plants....

Im running a thousand watt ballast. Id like to know if I keep plants short and lst is 7 big plants (month vegg on 6 but 1 for 2). all plants in five gallon. IS that to much.

Will work fine. Those pots will fit in the maximum recommended floorspace for a 1kW, which is 5x5'.

I have 9 under my 1000. My space is a little cramped but that is due to square footage, not because the light won't cover it. Sorry for the light being on

Thanks spek and jjoe75 for the help and the pic was great. JJoe75 what if you don't mind me asking do you about yield? Do you plants get big in that space?

I will tell you when they are finished! These are my first grow in quite some time and also my first with the 1000. They are 7 weeks old and 2 weeks into flower today. I think my yield is going to be around 1.5lbs but I will be happy with 1. My goal is to hit the 1 gram per watt mark but I don't think I will hit for some time but who knows. The tallest one right now is 37 inches and I have built a platform to bring all of the plants close to even to the light.

All 9 are in 5 gallon buckets and the space measures 4.5x almost 4. I did lst them to get as many tops as I could. Top buds are about 1.25 inches tall and about as big around as a nickle.
