How do you incorporate math into your spirituality? I use "math" as a way to balance things. It is how we make comparisons. Without math there is no wrong or right. The ability to compare one thing to another is what makes us humans. People use math as an excuse to be bad, or a reason to be good. I think the key to happiness is learning to balance your lifestyle, rather than just compare. Measuring your happiness compared to other peoples. Everything you do has some type of consequence. If you eat too much food, you are glutenous. All the seven sins pretty much spawn from making negative comparisons. You see something you want, and are willing to do whatever to get it because you want to be equal or greater. The key to happiness is balance. Try to balance everything in your life. Are you eating too much? Having too much sex? Stealing from people for personal benefit? Do you have something in your possession that you dont need that could benefit someone else more than yourself? There comes a point where YOU are not the only person/thing that should be factored into whatever equations are going on inside your brain.Do not get lost in the moment, time is only a measurement. It can be slowed or sped up in the eye of the beholder. Do not compare things that you do not fully understand. Things that are out of your control are probably out of your control for a reason! Do what is best for you and those around you and things will become easier and easier. SELFLESSNESS is key when making comparisons. Do not search too far for knowledge, let it come to you. And always remember, INFINITY is the only NUMBER that people still dont understand. It can not be factored into our way of thinking. It will never be understood, so dont get caught up with whatever it is you are comparing without factoring in this unexplained variable!

INFINITY AND BEYOND!

It's all about balance walking this tight rope of Life...

I jumped off; it's far easier to walk upon the ground...for a while
;)

Reminds me of a quote

"Colors blind; Sound deafens; Beauty beguiles; The enemy of stillness is desire. Remove desire and you are left with only truth." - Kwai Chang Caine

Also, Infinity is a concept, not a number.

To me ,Math and spirituality go together like water and oil. They dont coalesce in any adherent sense IMO.You have math, which is like an abstract of perception. To me its an existential abstract to communicate and apply material value of a set of conditions or object so they are related into knowledgable terms.Spirituality has nothing but zero from my standpoint,if it were given any number<---i dont say this in any demeaning fashion whatsoever, i say it in the sense that "this" zero is infinite and uncountable in itself, the vast endless empty, it could be relative to a concept balance, depends on the eyes of the beholder.Spirituality is something that is not inherent to the objective realm from my POV is what im essentialy saying here, yet if it gives one balance or happiness its of a subjective value more than anything...my 2 cents

  • The ability to compare one thing to another is what makes us humans.
  • Do not compare things that you do not fully understand.
  • INFINITY is the only NUMBER that people still dont understand
  • It will never be understood, so dont get caught up with whatever it is you are comparing without factoring in this unexplained variable!

Therefore, we are not human. I cannot draw any other conclusion from this logic.

...I find balance to be 3-part. Balance is body - heart - mind. The 'law' of 3. That extends to a 'law' of 7 - a whole other kind of balance. Math and Spirituality are inextricably linked, so far as I am concerned.

"And as regards the second fundamental primordial cosmic law, namely the sacred Triamazikamno, cosmic Objective Science formulates it in these terms. A new arising from the previously arisen through the "harnel-miatznel, the process of which is actualized thus the higher blends with the lower in order together to actualize the middle, and thus to become either higher for the preceding lower or lower for the succeeding higher."

Many scientific formulas that describe forces and relationships in nature are triadic in structure. The most famous is Einstein's equation E=mc2, which shows the equivalence of matter and energy and their relationship to Time. A more general formula was given previously by Isaac Newton as F=ma.

Other equations are :

E=IR - relating electrical voltage, current and resistance
a2=b2+c2 - The Pythagorean Formula
