Sunlight Supply is doing a very limited release of a brand new technology! This 1500 watt HPS/MH electronic ballast is an engineering prototype. Our initial release is limited to just 350 ballasts. We have tested this product thoroughly in our lighting test center and it has performed better than our expectations. We are now ready to move into phase 2 of our development process. This is a release to the industry in small quantities for testing in a variety of different growing environments and conditons. Please be aware that this ballast will only operate on 240 volt power

Bump. I just saw an advertisement about this at a local hydro store. 1500 watts and 206,000 lumens = 137.3 lumens/watt!!! Holy shit! Thought the efficiency would be tumbling that high, but that's incredible. I mean, what, 600 watt super HPS is 150 lumens/watt? Damn.

Any growers out there get their hands on one of these puppies yet?
