I am growing Masta Kush and I can't wait to smoke it but it seems to be taking long. It's been about 10 weeks now and its not filling out. I heard if I leave it in the dark cycle for 2 to 3 days it will force the plant the bud faster. Is this true? And if so does it hurt or benefit the plant. Somebody please respond. Don't want to cut her down at the wrong time.

Pics would help. Honestly I've read a ton of info and finished my first harvest this year and never read that keeping them in the dark for any amount of time has any actual value. They'll be done when they're done. 10 weeks really isn't all that long.

10weeks since flip. So probably 8 weeks since pistils first showed? so you probably have another 2-3 weeks.
