As you can see, it only just arrived! Unfortunately it's too late to set up tonight, we'll get around to that tomorrow and post an official 'day 1' post.

As for what's going inside, I got a small head start on that. Going with a Wedding Cake by Barney's Farm cause its a celebration of a sorts! :hump::bigjoint:Germinated and broke ground today.

The babies are doing great. Notched the TS 1000 up to around 60% as they're looking a tad stretchy.
Also Prepping the super soil for the Wedding Cake to go into once it's ready, and brewing a tea to really super charge it. 20210115_142158.jpg20210122_154925.jpg20210122_160705.jpg

Good things happening in the Marshydro tent. The girls are about a week and half old and looking good. Will let the Wedding Cake get a little more established before I repot but I could probably think about doing it soon as the soil is a set and ready now. Also growing some aloe vera in there which I will harvest eventually to use to make fermented plant juice for fertilizing, keeping it organic!

Some difference from my 1st gen blurple led light.
This is my 2nd grow with the TS1000 happy enough, I’m still on the learning curve....
No matter how long you've been growing you'll still be on the learning curve. I've been preparing for a business including a farm for the past 5-7 yrs. And still feel like I'm learning everyday. Good luck with your grows and may they be bountiful!

Thanks man, you too, I’m in the UK and would love to get into it as a business when they eventually get around to decriminalising.....I remember 30 years ago using an old streetlight that was given to me by a friend and huge MH bulb about the size of a human head and it took about 20 mins to warm up..... how times have changed lol

Nice, and yes there is definitely always more to learn! Out of curiosity with your experience with the TS1000, do you follow the recommended heights above the canopy? With the seedlings I have right now I'm finding they're getting little stretchy with the light at 24" above at around 60%. I didn't want to turn up the light intensity yet so I've inched the light closer to like 12" above.

I haven’t even read the recommendation for heights lol. I’ve been growing a bit so I just kinda see what the ladies tell me. But for the two runs I’ve done with these lights I can tell you that it can be too close and too far. If your 12” above those seedlings at 75% of less your prob fine. Just keep an eye on them after a few hours they will react to your change and then you can see what you need to do, if anything.

Careful being so close. Seedlings don’t need much light like they need warmth, and proper watering. If the edges around your leaves Get discolored back up a little on the light. It can stay at 60% and go up to 16” or it can stay at 12” and go at 40% power.

So far so good with the light at approx 12" and 60% power. It's been about a day now and they seem happy. Plants are between a week and two weeks old now. Should maybe think about potting up the Wedding Cake soon.

I tried to figure out what temp was perfect for the plants. I have a piece of thin copper wire that hangs with a knot in it at 18” and at 12” and my plants usually stay somewhere between there depending on the canopy, If you have decent air movement you should be ok at 18”. Oh and pinch the centres out of the stretchy plants..

Things are well in the Marshydro tent. Today we repotted the Wedding Cake to let those root stretch and give her fresh nutrients. And as you can see the other plants in the tent are doing quite nicely as well.

The Wedding Cake took to the transplant super well and didn't skip a beat so I FIMed/topped her today. The goal is to have 6-8 main branches that I'll weave into a scrog . :bigjoint:
