Mars Hydro II 1200 LED Grow Light

So I am new to this forum and this might be a stupid question but I have not been able to find any info on this. Does anyone know if both veg and flower light switches should be on while in flower for a Mars Hydro II 1200 LED? I'm about two and a half weeks into flower and bud spots are much smaller than they were at this point in my previous grow. This is my second indoor grow but I used a 1000 watt hps set up on my previous grow, this could be part of the issue as well. Any kind of help would be much appreciated.

You're gonna be significantly disappointed with the mars. Use the 1000w hps if you can.

I'm close to three weeks in to flower. Do you think it would be possible to switch to the 1000 watt hps at this point?

Yes yes yes. You should. Give it a couple days and read your plants too close and they'll maybe burn. You just finished stretch so it's bulking time and you need light!!! Make sure the leaves don't taco but you're not even gonna get 400grams with that mars. Unless you weigh stems

Haha lol got it. I guess I'll just switch back to 1000 watt hps. this what we're looking at. Not sure if this helps.
