I need help deciphering which way to put the seed into the soil. The root is coing out the side and I can not tell which is up or down. How do you know the top where the stem sprouts from the bottom. Is the bottom rounder? is the top more narrow?

aim the white part down and you'll be good to go. cover with about a 1/4'' of soil and wait a day or two.

yes but the white is coming out the side! I suppose the plant could come up sideways through the soil. but it may start thinking whATS Goin ON and DIE!

lol. seeds will grow upwards, i've rarely seen one pop a root out of the dirt. it happens, but not often.

take the side that has the white (it's one whole side, the side that's cracked) and place id downwards, so the crack is parallel with the soil. then cover and wait.

it's a plant, it'll grow if you let it

it doesnt matter. so long as the root is pointed downwards...the plant will grow under ground for a few days and eventually pop itsself up;
