I am growing the strain early widow and i have a few questions
my plants had a bad start from me not having the money to get a light they are about 2/3 weeks old now i have 3 2 of them are about 5inches tall and the other is about 4 they were lanky and stretched so i had to put a stick in the pot and tie the stems to them to hold them up, now the plants are under a 600w hps dual spectrum with diamond mylar sheeting around them they are recieving a very nice amount of light, the mylar was put up today they have been under the hps for about a week which is hung up by ez rolers.
1. obviously the light is about 14-18 inches above so its close enough without burning away the plant but now it is not stretching to recieve light i fear im going to have a 8inch plant going into a budding stage should i raise the light to get the plants stretching at a steady rate?
2. how many oz's do you recon i can get off an early widow plant when dry?

btw i understand i should have it under a 250w blue spectrum cfl for budding to save money on electric but i have spent so much on the materials i have nothing left to purchase a cfl for a while

3. If anyone has grown early widow which i think is a cross between white widow and low ryder could you please let me know the ins and outs of it.

4. any tips anyone can give me on how to veg quicker, what height to start budding etc it will be much appreciated

please answer the questions starting with the number of the question your answering thank you
if anyone wants a picture of my set up feel free to ask
none of the products i am growing are for sale or swap this is purely a hobbie/passtime and used for personal use only and none of my family have access to the area the plants are kept in.

1... no dont raise the light unless you have to, the plants are young yet give them time to start branching out
2 ... no way to tell .. depends on how you grow .. any problems etc ... kinda like counting chickens before the eggs hatch .. if you know what i mean
3... cant help ya there ..
4 ...veging is veging .. you can do as little or as much as you want .. plants double(indica) or triple(sativa)... even more in size once you switch to flowering

might think of putting a little fan on them to make them sway and strengthen the stem ...

happy growin

thank you, ive chose not to put a fan on as social services come round alot and they will hear it, this is untill i have money to get a fan with a silencer

well even a little 4" desk fan would help .. the stems need to move to strengthen ,, like they would outside with the breeze .. without it they wont be able to hold themselves up when they grow larger ..

happy growin
