Mango Kush Ryder LED Grow.

I don't like the journals so I am moving to this grow thread.

I'm going back to basics and downsizing this grow. Summer is coming and just don't want to deal with heat issues. Also my last grow was plagued with problems..
The goal is to grow a nice plant with good yield and keep the whole setup around 100w of power and keep it SIMPLE. No PHing etc..

New Grow
Strain: Mango Kush Ryder
Sprouted March 20th 2015
Space: 16 x 16 x 42 inch home made Panda Film Tent with tarp zipper.
Light: 50w Apollo Led UFO running 24/7
Supplemental CFL or LED (Not sure yet) Maybe even some LED Strip lighting.
Pot:3 Gallon Air Pot
Cooling: Phresh filter with a small fan attached. My Vortex uses too much power for this project.
Soil Fox Farms OF plus 25% Perlite
3 tbs Dolomite Lime
Nutes 1/3 cup Happy Frog Bloom and Flower DRY ORGANIC mixed into lower portion of the pot.
Supplemental: Fox Farms Big Bloom
Water: Bottled RO Water + CalMag

She is really doing great. Gave her some Big Bloom with the watering today and she grew half an inch.
Light is 9 inches from the top.

2 weeks from sprout. She looks ok, but a bit of leaf curl since the beginning. Tried backing off light. Might be too much water or too hot of soil. It's not major.

I guess there are a lot of ways and reasons to LST. My idea is to tie down the main to make sure there is not just one super-cola. I am wondering do I untie this at some point? Or just keep tying down shoots as they grow up?

Tie the main one down so that its lower then other growth, then depending on the plant i'll mostly keep the main tied down and keep tying new shoots once they become dominate

4-9-15 20 days from sprout.
She sure is short and bushy :) Makes it hard to work with or to even decipher what's going on with the shoots. I tucked a few fan leaves to let more light into the lower shoots.

She has a little nute burn and curling leaves. This has been going on since the beginning. My soil mix is just too hot, but otherwise she is doing fine.

Only thing I have given her so far is some BIG BLOOM and a bit of CALMAG. I have been adding a bit of tap water to the RO water to also fend off any Calmag issues that could arise. I have a few bugs in there, but they don't seem to be doing any damage.

I went a head and clipped the two fan leaves that were blocking out the lower shoots and bud sites. I couldn't help myself. :)

I always said Ba Humbug when people told me about certain soils being too hot for autoflowers. Well, I was wrong! If I had to do it again I'd have moxed fox farms and light warrior then supplemented with liquid nutes during flower as needed.

You can lst leaves to.

Yea, I just had to do it. They kept pushing back up after I tucked them. It was an obsession I couldn't resist. Kind of like how sometimes I just come home and cut off all my hair or having a blister that I know I should leave alone, but I pop it and peal it off anyway :)

Here she is. Ms. America! 27 days old. She is budding. The nute burn has subsided. Looks good. I added 1 cfl. Will likely add another.

I bought the slimestyle LED's. I felt like I had to give them a try. On sale for $7 at HD. 10.5 watts (60 watt equivalent) 800 lumens. 2700k. They run very cool to the touch. They are light weight also. Other LED I have weighs about 2 pounds. They give off a nice light and can get right up next to the plant without the threat of burning. I wanted the 75w bulbs but they were twice the price.

Overall they add a lot of nice supplemental lighting to the sides and under canopy. It gets light where there would normally be very little.

Still one CFL daylight bulb in there for some reason I feel like she needs it right now.

Gave her some nutes today just trying to get her to beef up.
3 tbs Grow Big
1/8 tsp GH Veg
1/8 TSP GH Bloom
1/4 tsp root supplement
1 tsp CalMag
