...no it is not related to a weed...the term weed is not well defined but is commonly refered to as a useless, hardy plant...marijuana is not a weed, it is usefull...

...skunkkushhybrid, previously you suggested i do some un-biased reading concerning the strength trends of cannabis, but you made no suggestions...feel free to add some

mine is robert connel clarke's marijuana botany...

...here is a suggestion for you, seperate slang from common scientific linguistics...weed is not a weed...get it yet?..

I said weed is closely related to weed. Also weeds are useful. They may not be very useful if you have a garden full of pansys, but in medicine they certainly are.

Why do you want to continue with the same argument after agreeing to dis-agree? I really don't care what you think on the subject any more... as I said I KNOW weed is getting stronger. I smoke the stuff all day long, and have done for years... what about AK47 or White Russian? If you had a bag of Ak' and a bag of Purple Haze you'd smoke the AK till it was gone and would still have plenty left of the Haze. The Haze'll get you through the day... but the AK will get you stoned. Before White Russian and Cheese there really wasn't anything to beat a hit of AK. It is generally considered that cannabis is getting stronger...

maybe one of the original Sativa's is the strongest, or the Indica's, afghan's or...(no point adding the ruderalis), but when you mix up the genes and create hybrids, that's when you start to create super strains.

...i was asking for some of the "un-biased reading" you mentioned...still waiting

...and maybe you should realize that the term weed, in the botanical sense, is not rigidly defined, therefor cannot be used as a comparison genetically with cannabis...it is a misnomer or slang at best...

My Dad has been smoking the ganja for over 40 years and he even says that the weed around today is a hell of alot stronger. And he was a serious user/dealer of almost all drugs for many years. Anyone seen the movie Blow, him and my uncle have told me some stories (Now that I am old enough) that make that movie look lame. So I definately believe them. And before anyone says it, they haven't gone that long without getting into SOME trouble along the way. Please don't make me elaborate.:joint:

I think I believe that, The weed now is stronger than in the past! I remember when they used to rate weed in the .05 percent range and a 5 percent weed was almost un heard of, now 15-20 per cent weed is available everywhere! The white widow I'm growing can be 19%, since this is my first grow, I doubt I'll reach that strength, but to me a 10% weed would probably blow my head clean off!

Ok, how about this: Cannabis isn't a weed OR a drug. It's a gift to Mankind from the Creator.

I think the debate about weed being stronger now than in the past is moot as best. Let's talk about effects. The weed we smoke today (Indica) will get you stoned to the bone. The Hazes are wonderful in the high department ... I love 'em. But ... after smoking off and on (mostly on) since I was 14, I've yet to find anything grown out today, indoors or out, that can compare in the hallucinogenitc department with the Mexican Sativas, Thai, and Hawaiian that we had back in the late 60s and early 70s. I've had weed, that will keep you extremly high for six hours just from two little hits from a pinner. Not only high ... but into that cartoon world I talked about in another post in this thread. I think the debate in this thread is really about apples and oranges.

iv seen on a seedbank somewhere where they have grown a plant with the original traits of cannabis from a lllooonnnngggg tttiiimmmmeeee ago and they say it grows and drops its seeds around itself and grows many more...exactly like a weed spreading so i reckon it is very closely related to it..

anyone ever been tempted to smoke stinging nettles before??? i mean...look at them in flower.......does that not look like cannabis at all to anybody???

Gentlemen, what that man was growing was Cheese. I've mentioned it before on this site, and the smell is stronger than your average carbon filter can handle. There's loads of it in England. There's another batch in in a couple of weeks. Also we'll soon be getting a few cuttings of this magical plant...

Long live the cheese...
I just had a buddy send me Cheese from Greenhouseseeds, along with some other strains. I've deffinetly heard about it. I can't wait for the next two months go by!

When we take drugs the effect of the drug has a lot to do with our state of mind at the time.

There's no such thing as a bad bunch of acid;

I gotta disagree. I have had a sheet of acid that had a major amphetimine type high like no other i ever had. It was a jaw clenching intense trip and many others I had were much "softer", and i'm not talking about stregnth. I had alot of this one, and I knew when I took it it was gunna be rough! But fun, lol. Some of my friends did not like it at all so I ended up not being able to get rid of it, lol.

I dunno, different weeds different highs.. Kinda similar with the street acid I had growing up.

Chees has been around over twenty years. I found this write up on it in another forums strain reviews.

"Cheese is a selected Sensi Skunk 1988 vintage. Purchased from the breeders shop in Amsterdam, from the man. The seeds where sprouted and this pheno has been kept and passed around in the UK since then.

Its for sure a rare 'sport' of Sk1. Which has been reported way back in the past. It is prior to there being any remake of the Sk1 strain in Adam, these where from the original seed batch we think, as its unlike any Sk1 ive seen since, as all have a lot more Afghani in the high and mix.

It has a almost pure Sativa high, with little to no body, unless harvested amber. It has a Sat dom growth profile and traits and will grow into a large diamond shape with multiple branches if left to bush. She clones easily, is still very vigorous indeed, grows fast and will go tall. Stetch from clone at 6 inch is to about 4feet in flower. 8-10 week flower, with a very adaptable cutting time, want it pure up, can be taken at 55 days, want to have you head on the desk with a cerabal 'couchlock' take it beyond 63, it isnt a Indica couchlock though, you could get up if your brain still worked. rofl.

Its a extreme resin producing plant, as can be seen in the photo above. It will choke itself eventually i think. The nugs are incredibly dense, hard. Every little piece you pull from the bud will be coated in resin, no matter how deep in the bud you go. The high is long lasting, hard to build tolerance to.

The plant has been a keeper for all who have tried her. Very strong potency overall.

It got named the Cheese due to its really pungent smell, a real chemy pungent smell thats unlike the typical Sk1, not fruity at all. Pure fuel/chem smell...it smells like a drug. From miles, one ziplock bag is not even enough for a nug, you will smell it. Serious odor control needed in flower"
In my 20 years smoking and 2 years growing and buying difrent strains I havent found anything that comes close to cheese except pschosis which in my opinion is a cheese cross.
Clone only so its not changed in the 20 years its been about.
