Male Plants

so i have one male plant and i want to turn him into hash shoud i let him grow longer or cut that sob down and make with the hash?

Recently my grow of 3 plants all turned out to be males.. i let them flower outdoors and when the polen sacks started to open, i cut the tops of all the plants of put em into paper bags to keep the pollen for later (you dont have to) and made some cannabutter, even tho they were only males this butter is mean i then procceded to get stoned
