Male plant punishment?

If someone was caught with some male marijuana plants and no females, would they be charged with the yield potential of females or would they just toss the plants out and charge them only with manufacturing?

I would say that the authorities would charge you as for any "marijuana". The other part that REALLY sux is that when they charge you (quantity/street value) they pick an arbitrary figure PER PLANT, typically a pound or two per plant, no matter what stage of development they are in. So if you get caught with 15 or 20 seedlings, count on some serious charges!!! Might not happen, but very possibly COULD.

i read that in my town one guy got cought with fief small plants. as they didnt got any THC yet, he didnt get charged.

dont forget, that theres weed that looks like normal marijuana plant, except they dont have any THC. you cant be punished for growing plant wich only looks like marijuana plant.

anyway, im not sure about your country, im talking about situation in my country.

good luck with your males, lol.

Almost always anywhere in the U.S. they will assign a weight or dollar value per plant no matter what stage it is at and consider the maximum potential of that plant. I've seen them estimate the street value anywhere from 1k to 5k per plant, usually around 2k to 3k. If you have them indoor and have a light with a timer they will report it as a "very sophisticated" system and one of the most advanced they have ever seen.

If you are caught with 20 young plants grown under two lights on a timer they will report it as a major super sophisticated indoor grow operation with an estimated street value of over 50,000 dollars that was intended to be sold to the kids in the community. If you have a weapon in your house, even if its stashed away and used only for hunting they will surely mention that they confiscated firearms as well and got another devil incarnate locked up safely away from the community.

That's how your friends, family, neighbors and co-workers will read it in the newspaper. Hopefully a decent lawyer and an understanding judge will work through all the b.s. and will deal with the true reality of the situation when it comes time to sort it out in court.

Check NRML's site. They have the individual laws for each state. From the searches I've done, it doesn't look like most states consider seedlings or male plants any differently from a mature female plant. And it'd be funny, if the consequences were not so dire, that they estimate each plants as having not just outrageous street prices, but huge gains as well. I know that I was trying to figure out what the average yield per plant was here (and thank god I did not post--would've been flamed big time), and it looks like about one oz per plant is doing well. Tell that the war on drugs folks. They see one plant, and it's ONE POUND at outrageously inflated prices.

Gratuitous factoid: Florida just passed and starting enforcing first of this month incredible penalties for indoor growers: 25 plants, including males, seedlings and clones will get you into one hell of a lot of trouble. That would include clones and seedlings.

In states like those, I wouldn't count on an understanding judge. I think they love this stuff. Ooooh, to be so tough on crime! And esp in a state like Florida! Europeans being robbed and shot at random? Children desperately in need of social services? Who cares, as long as those horrid drug dealers and potheads are being incarcerated. It all looks good at election time. Seriously, social services in Florida are barely operating at all thanks to budget cuts, but thank god they've got the resources to go after the soccer moms growing a few plants. Thank god.

End of grandstanding.

I've been getting stone off my ass every day on the leaves from my male plants while I wait on the females to finish. So I'd say they would charge you the same for male or female.
