if someone wanted to know what sex there plant was should you keep them in the dark for 24-48 or 72 hours

neither, the plant needs atleast a week of 12/12 lighting, maybe less, to show signs of sex and 12/12 till harvest

thanks but i heard someone saying if you keep the plant in the dark for a certain period of time it would show there sex after you turn the lights back on that's not true???

I've never heard that, but look online. it sounds like someone had a plant close to showing the sex already and got lucky.

no thats not true you have to switch your lights to 12/12 and your plants should show sex within a week

12x12 is the only way it take a week to 10 days then there will be hairs showing at the nodes. or balls.
