Are these male or female? started flowering on 26 Dec and today I see this plant has these flowers starting to grow. If it is male what can I do with it? Will it bud? I am new to Hydro, from what I read I don't need males.

Females will have only a single tear dropped preflower with two white pistils that stick out from them.
Any cluster like that is a male for sure.

no, males don't bud. they just develop pollen sacks that will eventually open and pollinate any females that you have around, thus producing seeds in the female plant. here's a decent shot of what your female pistils should look like. males=trash (or hash)... your pick. i choose trash.
