If you dont see white hairs at this point while those balls are all over the place....there is no second guessing, its a stud. Better get rid of it before it mess up the rest of your plants.

I know, its hard to kill a plant in your first grow but you dont want to take the risk of that male throwing pollen's in your grow area. It's a pity, it's a nice plant.

Yea i thought so thanks for the reply. So you reckon its pure Male?

Sorry man, but there's no such thing as pure male, either you got a male, female, or pure hermaphrodite. The last, being rare for cannabis, where the plant develop both male and female flowers at the same time. Either way, if you got a male or pure hermaphrodite, you get rid of them asap, unless you're planning to harvest some seeds.

If this is your only plant, dont get discourage, consider it as your growing practice. Germinate a couple of seeds, at least there's a higher chance of you getting some female plants or buy feminized seeds.

Healthy looking plant. Do you have other plants going to show us a picture of a potential female?
Here's a picture of my wardrobe grow. I have a few vegging in the bottom and a few flowering in the top section. I will post a couple pictures of my 2 most mature plants. I haven't seen any pistils in the pre flowers in beginning to think I have a light leak from the veg area turning everything male if thats possible but I'm quite sure there aren't any

I like your pots

That's good that you have other plants going, there's a good chance that you will have female plants. Are you flowering the top section already? How long you been vegging them? Looks like you dont have enough room there if those plants suddenly explode in growth and flower.

Ideally, your vertical grow space should be, minimum, double the plant height(before the flip) + light distance.

If you're determine to finish your grow like that, so be it, but you gonna run into problems and low yield.

My suggestion is, in your next grow, you might want to separate your veg area. You can do your veg stage outside of the box then use the box as your flowering box. Looks like you only have room for 1 or 2 decent size plant for that box. So you would veg several plants outside of the box, wait for pre-flower (to determine sex), pick 1 or 2 of your best female plants and flip them inside the box.

Hope this help.

Thanks for another reply. Yea the top is in flower ready I know my yield will be a few grams per female but I'm not looking for yield on my first grow, just looking to experience seed to harvest.
The divider is movable so I can move it down to create more flower space when needed.

Also from the previous picture are any showing signs of female? Doesn't look like it to me

Looks like its ready to flower(or starting to flower) and from the look of it, those 2 close-up, looks like females. Cross your finger that I'm right

How long ago did you flip? What's your light schedule?

Btw, in regards to light leak, it doesnt turn your plant to males, it turns your female plants to grow balls. Also, light leak would delay flowering.

@Xs121 Why flower now? Even if they were already growing alternating nodes (showing sexual maturity), these plants are really small and would yield next to nothing (even if going through the same long flowering period). I would train them (LST) until they have plenty of "main" branches and then put into veg. More time to confirm the sex, which goes back to OP question.

Cool fingers crossed :)

Flipped to 12-12 about 12 days ago I'd say.

And I dont think there are any light leaks but we will soon see.

Yep you're right I'm aware that i wont get mucb from these. the ones I'm vegging now will be trained and vegged for a while. Thanks

Yeah brother, I agree with you. OP have already started the 12/12 12 days ago. Well, there's always a first time.

Yeah, but it's his 1st grow. Did you guys Lst and think yield your 1st grow and have success? If you both did you would be in an elite group.

Yea that's right. The second lot of plants that I flower i will be aiming for high yield.

Thanks for the replies guys any more advice on my setup is appreciated. Otherwise I'll keep posted. Cheers

I had not realized OP already had switched to flower, but was not meant to criticize, just to give useful information (as I received from other forum members). LST would have been a great tip if he were still in veg. Peace.

I was dreaming of getting 'bout a pound' and thought cannabis are classified as weeds. And weeds dont need much attention. I was dead wrong.
