Making Hash

For all you outdoor growers you are all making tons of killer hash with your trimmings and mini-buds right? I hope so. I had a big "drying" box with a hole cut out down the bottom side that I had taped a 6 inch vent pipe that came from my lights which blew hot air. I took all my trimmings and junk baby buds thaty weren't worth the trouble of trimming and put them into the drying box for a day or so, long enough to make sure they wouldn't mold and then took the material (Hash Makings) and stored it in other big boxes. All through the harvest I would keep feeding all trimmings into the drying box and emptying it when dry enough not to mold.

When the last of the seasons buds were finally trimmed and dried and processed it was time for some fun. Hash Making!

One of the best investments I ever made was to buy the XL Bubble Bag Hash Kit.

I went all out an bought the top of the line XL setup. The "Jack Puck" hash press was not included. The kit did contain:
Our Pro Kit includes the Bubble Now XL machine plus a 20 gallon 8 bag Bubble Bags kit. This kit has everything you need to produce large quantities of top quality herbal extracts. This setup can process up to 2 pounds of plant material at a time.

Contents:
-20 Gallon Bubble Now XL Machine
-220 micron zipper bag (Bubble Now XL Bag)

8 Bag set of Bubble Bags:
-20 gallon 220 micron bag Throw this shit away, useless.
-20 gallon 190 micron bag This bags sole purpose is to remove crap and purify the hash you want to be awesome.
-20 gallon 160 micron bag This bag collects low quality that I'd only use for cooking, I threw it away most of the time
-20 gallon 120 micron bag This bag collects b grade hash, I would use this for cooking, not smoking, I gave alot of this away
-20 gallon 90 micron bag If collected gently this bag will have the heads of indicas, if done my way they be in the 45 bag.
-20 gallon 73 micron bag This bag catches the big trichrome heads of indicas
-20 gallon 45 micron bag My Favorite! Contents in this bag Mindblowing, huge amount when done my way. This is the MONEY BAG!
-20 gallon 25 micron bag This bag collects lots of hash, broken hash stems and all the small particles that escaped capture before
-3 Blotting Screens
-1 Storage Pouch for your Bubble Bags

Alot of people figure that the 4 bag set will be as good as the 8 bag set. WRONG. I did an experiment by using only the 4 bags that the 4 bag set provide. Night and day difference in quality at all the levels. The extra bags help to refine what ends up in the last 4 bags. The more purification through filtration the better. Sometimes its worth spending more money especially if you are doing a commercial operation. I spent $1000 buck on my Hash Making equipment and made over a pound of incredible hash the first day. I had plenty of product,(baby buds, trimmings) to work with so this was a great investment.

Anyone not making Hash with their trimmings needs to dry them out and save them and find a way to get this set up. Have a friend invest if need be but don't throw away your trim!

To the Site keeper/owner,

Please keep this thread in the outdoor category. I imagine there is a special place for Hash making discussions but I wanted this to be in the outdoor section for the purpose of educating people who might be unaware that their trimmings can produce world class hash. I didn't know about hash making for years and just threw my trimmings away. I had no idea that there was an easy way to gather and process hash and for that reason I would like to educate others who may not be informed on Hash making.
Thank you, NorthernMan

Daaaaaaaaamn...
That's too expensive man
You against solvent extracts?
I pay $1.18 per pint.. one pint runs 2oz or so, fills a mason jar 3/4 full to the top of the herb...yield 10% average
Bit of 2 of my favorites..one is a "crystal" it falls out of solution like that, its not somehow scraped thin or frozen and smashed idk lol..but a gorgeous almost pure white..then a delicious oily red wax....from the same plant material just different type of hash
https://www.rollitup.org/attachment...81092810-first-2-qwiso-batches-please-744.jpg white powder
https://www.rollitup.org/attachment...81093342-first-2-qwiso-batches-please-699.jpg red wax.... https://www.rollitup.org/attachment...qwiso-batches-please-dsc_0220_zps350770a0.jpg perhaps a better pic of some of that red wax (red from strain not cbn)

Put some pics of your hash up man

I'm a fan of old school hash, never tried any other method.

The computer with all my good pics is broke beyond repair. I've just got a few picks of a backyard garden of Northern Lights and my prized photograph I brought to a High Times Magazine party that Danny Danko and Bobby black signed for me.

I had an old ass hand me down bubbleator for a min....I worked the hell out of that thing it was a champ. Refurbished Kenmore was way more of a willing partner oh how we used to dance lol

I love that dry ice shit. Nice pics doublejj. I like to keep shaking for the green for cooking and stuff my girl makes the bombest hard candies.

I got a ridiculous mountain of goodness to process. I have 20 gallons bubble set, but I need to buy a new washer.

A couple of years ago I help a couple of friends process their trim. They had accumulated a conex container full of trim, a dozen barrels full. We used an entire pick-up load of ice each day for a week. We had 2 sets of bubble bags working by mid week. We made pounds & pounds........I've never seen so much hash......

what do you guys use to clean your smaller (head catching) bags?
my first set (5gl,bublebags) I ruined by getting them to clogged up. had been cleaning the best I could pulling them inside out and spraying with hot water. it realy didn't work to well so I tried alchohol after they were to clogged to use. it didn't help but might have if tried first.
also i bought a cheap set and they only lasted a few uses before the bag seams stared ripping apart. so don't by cheap.
