Making a new grow room in roof

I have had a look up in my roof to check the space and this is what I came up with.
I am wanting to put a 400w or 600w light up there.

What do you guys think and how many plants do you think I could get under this?

The Red is the extra area I could make if it were to make a difference.

depends on how many lights/plants etc you want to go for, and also how much money you want to spend setting it up etc, if you add that info on then im sure 1 of the more experienced growers here will be more than happy to help you plan a design/layout

all i will say is be careful. hps lights create a lot of heat and choppers fly over almost nightly............ see what i'm coming to?

if you were to insulate it properly, make an extraction, an intake and a proper grow set up you could be talking thousands. if you aren't willing to pay this much, you will either : 1. run the risk of being caught by police (providing you are in a place where it is illegal to grow),
2. grow shit weed if any at all,
3. have pest problems and a whole host of other issues.

so i say, try to do as good a job as you can, with a 1000W hps you could get forty plants in that space if you wanted.

Yup!!!
Smell, Climate(heat), and bugs have been my sharpest learning curve so far. Still battling the fucking mites.
I've spent about 9k getting mine pretty close to right, I could probably do it again for about 6.5k...All good educations cost money..lol
Research until you've read it all twice, then go read it again.
My best guess would be, heat will be your greatest challenge.
