Makin' butter questions...

What do you use for ratios of butter vs. trimmings? Do you grind the trimmings like you would using regular product, or do you try to keep the sugar leaves intact to sift out after simmering? Any specific pointers to give other than telling me to search the forums?

I use 150 grams of dry iced sugar trim and popcorn to 2 lbs of butter. Yes, grind them or break them up prior to decarbing . You wont be able to fish them out after, but you'll strain everything.

I use an oz of lower bud to a pound of butter. I use that measure because its pretty consistant and you only need 3g of canna butter per dose, cookie, or brownie.
