Can anyone help me out with a cfl list? im going to be growing 3 plants. Also, need to know how long i need to keep lights on when they first pop up..Then how long lights should be on while growing. Any help is appreciated! THANKS GUYS! PS i hope to get it right this time.

So are you starting over? Unless your plants are completely fucked, which it doesn't sound like they are, you should finish your current grow.

What lights do you have now?

To answer you question, you want between 100 and 150 watts of CFL per plant. So if you're going to Wal-Mart, pick up 9 or 10 42W CFL bulbs.

Wow, ok ... They are stretched ... For veg your gonna want daylight's, 40-43 watts if ya can find um, but doubtfull at walmart ... you'll most likely only see 23 watter's ... for 3 plants, I'd use atleast 8 .... Can get a 4 socket vanity .. wired up with spliter's for 8 total angled since CFL's expose most of there light from there sides .... For flowering you'll want SOFT white, 2700-3200 "i think the numbers are right" ...

BTW, as you'll hear a million times ... with CFL or any flourescent light ... it needs to be within inches "1 or 2" from the top of the plant ... hold your hand under the light ... is it too hot for you ??? ... its too hot for the plant ... if not, keep it there ... the closer, the better ....

well your plants are stretching because you have your flourescents way to far from the leafs. with cheap flouros, you want the bulbs within inches. this is because the light intensity is greatly reduces the farther the lights are. your plants may still be salvageable if they dont fall over first. I'd say, tie them to a stick and move the lights about 2 inches from the tops. then get a fan lightly blowing on the stalks to hopefully stiffen them up so they make it through the next few weeks. i hope you plan on getting more lights soon those flouros wont support those plants for very much longer and your plants with become stunted. If your going to wally world on a tight budget. they have 2 packs of 23watt daylight (6500k) cfls for about $6.
I think thats a better value then buying single 42watters for $9 a piece.
if your on a tight budget go with about 4-23 watters per plant. if not hands down more light intensity per bulb is the way to go with 42w. also to help your plants out, idk how much you know about plants but if you increase the nitrogen given to your plants that will also help to strengthen your stems.
good luck with those hopefull ladies. :bigjoint:

Pick up one of those space blankets (survival heat blanket) to lign the walls of your grow setup, it will help your lights out...It's a cheap solution instead of buying a whole role or mylar; the blankets are actually quite large.

get those plants way closer to the light. the flouros wont burn em dont worry. get a shitload of cfls or just get a t-5. the t-5 is a way better investment. and you dont need to worry about heat. check out htgsupply.com for t-5s.

just get an hps for 12/12 and flos for vegg.
you see yor plants now, well, when there bigger thell need proper lite, so either get 10 plus flos or get an hps, other than that i think your wasting your time.
if your going to grow, and want buds, to smoke, then do the job rite.

if you use FL the plants must be as near as '5 milimeters !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 0.5cm !!!!!

They will grow nice then ^^ man your plants look like mushrooms without the tops ^^

Get yourself 5 x 23 watt cfl's with 1600 LM - 6500 K ! --- VEG
Get yourself 5 x 23 Watt Cfls with 1600 LM - 2300 K ! --- FLOWERING

...... 10 x 1600 = 16000 lm... should be enough ^^

go 24/0 with flos start with two and add 1 every week of vegg till you have 5 good flos, then when you get to 12/12 get a hps, then you can always have plants in vegg, have a vegg room with flos and a flower room with hps. then when you have harvested you can chuck the plants in what your vegging, so you dont have to wait, 4 to 8 weeks for vegg every time you start a grow.
