Main-Lining with Scrog

So my question is if I have a indica plant that I wanna main line and then use a scrog how do I set this up. Do I main line and then once I get the amount of mains I want then I set up the scrog 8in above, let my baby heal and take off the straps from training then just let her grow out in the screen then flip?

i have no idea personally, but with the amount of research ive been doing lately that sounds correct.

Bump.

I want to know how many ppl are using their screens to guide their plant horizontally, aligning nodes in each square. Or are growing to the screen and using the squares as 'targets' and let the tops grow >12" above.

I thought scrog was brought on to compensate for low lighting conditions and use as much space as possible.

One of my heros OGKUSHOG's scrog, he grows them into the net, topping a millionxmillions of times, spending time every night to organise them. His time and dedication averages him .7 grams a watt, 25 ozs per 1000k.

I say you main-line so you don't need to scrog. Nice canopy...no screen needed.
Pick one and do it...not both. IMHO
